As the theme progresses, the children will learn facts about dinosaurs such as how big they were, what they ate, and how they cared for their young. Things to Do: Show children pictures of some familiar dinosaurs such as the T-Rex, Stegosaurus, Apatosaurus, and Pterodactyl. Introduce the sign language symbol for dinosaur (see Resources).
